FAME ISN’T CHEAP AND NEITHER IS CALEB’S STORY,

Caleb’s dirty blonde hair and piercing eyes are one of the qualities that makes him so good at what he does. And when you hear most people say “…what he does…”, most people think of his acting career. He is only eighteen and he is on one of the most famous crime shows on television. But to the few people that actually know Caleb, they’d know that what he does best isn’t acting, its stealing. The blonde American boy was practically put on this earth to be a thief and a part of him owns up to that but there is also another part of him that doesn’t want that lifestyle for himself. Not after watching his father slowly sink so deep into a whole that he couldn’t dig himself out of. Although Caleb was born in Cleveland, Ohio, the Beakon’s raised their son in a small town outside Richmond, Virginia. They wanted their son to grow up with small roots and hoped that they would raise him well enough to lead him into a successful future. But when you look at the big picture, his parents never really wanted that for him. At least his father didn’t. His fathers ways of picking locks and stealing items off the shelves was something that he carried with him to the small town. And it would soon be an addiction that he would pass onto his son.

Growing up, Caleb idolized his father. They had a large house on a small lake and they had a good enough income that they never had to worry. They had a small dog and Caleb had plenty of friends. It was as if he had the all American childhood. And he did, in the beginning. As a teenager, Caleb’s father grew into a habit of stealing things off the counters of stores and taking it home just to put a simple meal on the table. His reasons, though not completely pure, had a good nature in the beginning but after awhile, stealing food wasn’t enough. He needed more, he wanted more. Soon he began stealing jewelry and pick pocketing money from wallets. And after Caleb saw his father picking the lock to their next door neighbors shed while they were out of town, he instantly became struck to the illegal deal as well. But his reasons were never pure and were never good natured. Until after he broke into a theater room one day. Planning on stealing some props and selling them for cash, Caleb accidentally set off an alarm and was caught red handed. With the help of his mother, the blonde haired boy got off on community service for the theater and it didn’t take long before he began to love the theater and the arts as well.

TONY G. — Trouble and crime seem to follow Tony and Caleb wherever they go. Many think that its their law-breaking ways that make them so close in the first place but the two boys would be quick to disagree. The two weren’t always starting trouble out in the streets of Hollywood, in fact, they use to just hang out like any other pair of friends, if you skip the fact that they are famous. They use to drink beer all night and play video games until they could barely keep their eyelids open. But after awhile, they began to grow tired of the same old thing and started becoming more daring with their evenings. They would con people out of money, even though they had plenty of it, and they would steal cars like they didn’t have enough of those either. A lot of people think that the two are destructive together but the two boys just want to live their lives.

QUINN E. — Quinn and Caleb aren’t the usual pair that you would think to mix but the two have a bond that is stronger than words. After meeting on set on the episode that Quinn appeared in for 212 Bloods, the two instantly connected. In the beginning, Caleb did just about anything to pick her up and get her into bed with him but it didn’t take long for him to realize that that wasn’t going to happen. Quinn wasn’t that type of girl and he respected her for it. The two then formed a friendship and it is becoming more obvious that when she is around him, Caleb’s games of thieving are slipping away from him. She makes him a better person even if he has yet to see it.

When you come from a small town in North Dakota, the chance of you facing the true reality of life is very slim. Small town people usually stay small town people. They stay because they don’t know how to handle everything around them when they aren’t. And in many ways, that is exactly how Alex Chellio’s life started out. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Alex’s family didn’t want her to be exposed to the big city. They thought that it would be a bad influence on her and they didn’t want that to impact their daughter. So when she was only a few months old, the parents packed up their things and moved to North Dakota, hoping for a new start and a good lifestyle for their daughter to grow up in. And for the most part, they were right. She grew up with a lot of friends and she had good grades. Her father even opened up a small pizzeria that she would help at sometimes. But her father was strict and always demanded the best from his daughter. And even though he was only doing it with his daughters benefit at the time, Alex couldn’t stand it and thanks to her mother, she would get a few hours of peace everyday. Always sneaking off, Alex would often go to the lake and stare at the sunrise of sunset.

Alex always had an artistic side to her. Her drawings started out as small doodles on her work sheets in school but it didn’t take long for it to develop. It helped her escape from all of the real world pressures that her father had pushed on her. And to most of the world, what her father was doing wasn’t that big of a deal but for her, it was. Her father didn’t approve of her dreams of being an artist and automatically shunned them at the first realization. At first, it was a blow to the young girl. Everything she had wanted was just thrown back in her fact but little did she know that that was the beginning of a long future. Her amazing art didn’t go unnoticed. Not by her teachers or the people around town and after pushing her to go to an art event, Alex buckled and went behind her fathers wishes. Although, her mother was one of the many that was pushing her to it as well. At her first event, someone had paid a thousand dollars for one of her paintings. She thought it was a joke at first but soon accepted the money. But what she didn’t know was that the buyer was one of the top art buyers in the world and he was about to set Alex on a very long road to success. She is now eighteen and lives in Hollywood and even though she rarely talks to her father, she talks to her mother everyday, hoping that her father will forgive her for going behind his back to make her dreams come true.

JACKIE L. — Alex is the only person that Jackie has had the guts to tell someone about her being abused. And it seems to say a lot about the friendship as a whole. The two confide in one another and are at each others side whenever they can be. But as both of their careers are beginning to grow and Jackson’s hold on Jackie is tightening, they are growing more and more distant from one another. And it is taking a big impact on both girls. They are the best friend that neither of them had and they don’t wanna lose that. Hollywood has a mind of its own though. And right now, its mind is set on driving Alex and Jackie apart.

HAYLIE H. — Haylie and Alex’s friendship is a new one. Fresh and clean, they get along like any other pair, like high school girls really. They haven’t dug into each others secrets and their friendship doesn’t hold much meaning yet but they are close enough for comfort. They know that they can call each other up and either one of them will make free time for them. It is a good friendship that is normal, which is rare in a place like Hollywood. But Alex is starting to feel like Haylie is only there because her friendship with Quinn is starting to fall a part. And Haylie feels like Alex is only there because her friendship with Jackie is slowly coming to a halt. But the truth is, both are wrong.
